Privacy Policy

Updated 30 September 2026

Still doesn’t collect anything about you. There’s no sign-up, it never uses the internet, and nobody keeps track of what you do.

Nothing leaves your Mac

Still never uses the internet, so nothing is ever sent anywhere. There are no ads and nothing watching what you do.

Only the folders you pick

Still can only see the folders you choose. It shows your photos but never moves, renames, edits or deletes them.

Small previews stay on your Mac

To open quickly, Still keeps small copies of your photos on your Mac, along with each photo’s name, date and size. They never leave your Mac. They use up to 10 GB of space, and you can change that in Still’s settings. It’s safe to delete them: Still simply makes them again. (They’re kept in ~/Library/Containers/com.xheggs.still.)

Your settings

Choices you make in Still, like how the slideshow plays, are saved on your Mac.
